The 40th New York Marathon

New York Sunday Nov. 1

The New York marathon is one of the world's greatast road runs, with 42,000 participants this year.

The run passes through most of New York with Finish in Central Park .

The run was for the first time in 27 years won by an American, the 34-year old Meb Keflezigh.

It has rewarded him with a lot of attention for examle he was invited to The Late Show With David Letterman.
