Mississippi Steamship Delta Queen

The Orleans Room

The Delta Queen is the last traditional steamboat still taking overnight passengers on the US inland waterways. For that reason, she has been nominated for inclusion on the National Trust for Preservation’s 2009 list of America’s Most Endangered Historic Places.

The Orleans Room
This room is the heart of the ship’s nightlife and features a rare ironwood floor. You can notice that the band was rehearsing while I was there getting this image.
